Why are 5 and 6 afraid of 7?

Description:

When I was in grade school I always had problems with addition and subtraction, not because I was bad at math, in fact I was the best in the class.
The reason is I tend to give personallities to numbers and I always worried that they were being mean to each other.
1= a prankster
2= a dreamer, lost in her own world
3= is kind of butch
4= is a tad immature and is always whining
5= is rather self absorbed but has the best of intentions
6= I'm under the impression that 6 has an addiction of some sort that 5 is trying to help him through it
7= is a loner
8= is rather nice and well meaning, but is never really in control
9= is a bit of a bully

I also gave them genders
Female= 2, 3, 5, 9
Male= 1, 4, 6, 8
I'm not entirely sure about 7.

Because every time i see 5 i (semi) remember the rhyme my 1st grade teacher told us to learn how to write 5. "something something, belly fat, Mr. 5 wears a hat" So i always picture 5 as like a guy number, who like a fat jazz musician type guy with a hat, and like this deep slow jazzy, almost Barey White-ish voice thats like "five!"

08/07/2008 21:25:21 (318) From: jllybllyrulz OMG!! i used to do that in like second grade! i used to all ways think that 5 was really stuck up and to was like a grandpa. and 8 was like bestest friends with 9 and they team up on 4 and stuff. lol. i think thats sane since so many ppl do it.
01/07/2008 20:56:15 (295) From: MrclWrkr11 i always do stuff like that to help me with like multiplication, like 5 is kind of timid, so when 5 is multiplie by 8 he only goes to 4o cuase he doesnt want to make 8 mad, causse he has more power, but 6 is outgoing and kind of a show of so he goes al the way to 48 cause he doesnt care... little things like that, i also have a thing for 6x7 and 7x7.... 0_0

So here's how it goes with me: 1 - a good example for everybody else, always helps 2 out(male) 2 - always scared to be left behind, shy(female) 3 - kind of mean, but charming(male) 4 - bitch, always wants to be the best, but almost never is(female) 5 - total jock, but still a nice guy(male) 6 - pretty, vulnerable girl who is friends with 5(female) 7 - always trying to screw 6 over, fights over her with 5 A LOT(male) 8 - fat lady, who doesn't know what's goig on around her, but wise in her own way(female) 9 - energetic, fast-talking, doesn't respect 8 at all, gets annoyed easily(female)

13/12/2007 20:34:52 (102) From: matixa That is in fact kind of weird... I never thought that numbers had personalities (now that you mention it it's kind of logical) but I thing that they have genders! 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 = Male 2, 4, 6, 8 = Female I don't know why... :p
